Pride of the Pack accomplishment:
During the past week, Smith's attention to detail and technical expertise led to the highly effective management of the 8th FW decorations program. He tirelessly processed more than 15 decorations with a turnaround rate of 48 hours and expedited two short-notice decorations for 8th FW commander's signature, in time for presentation prior to members permanent change of station. Smith was instrumental in training and evaluating 8th FW Honor Guard members as lead trainer. His professionalism and dedication to military heritage led to one of his honor guard trainees successfully completing a rigorous 46-point evaluation, ensuring member was qualified to perform in official ceremonies. As the Wing Staff Agency 2013, 1st Quarter Honor Guard board member he meticulously reviewed and evaluated six award nominee packages, ensuring deserving 8th FW Airmen were recognized.
