KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Republic of Korea air force, 38th Fighter Group maintainers work alongside 8th Logistics Readiness Squadron petroleum, oil and lubricants technicians during a hot pit refueling operation at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, May 6, 2013. This was the second such training with the 8th LRS this year, which helped to strengthen U.S. and ROK air forces alliances. Maintainers refueled the running ROKAF KF-16 Fighting Falcons with a pantograph arm. JP-8 jet fuel is transfered from an offsite pumping station through the underground fuel hydrant system to the aircraft.
