KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- The 8th Security Forces Squadron conducted realistic combat scenarios with mission partners to increase Kunsan’s readiness and interoperability, including its ability to support follow-on forces and defend the base against regional threats during Ulchi Freedom Shield.
Throughout the exercise, the Wolf Pack's defenders joined members of the Republic of Korea Air Forces Air Forces to conduct several simulated live-fire training events to test the base’s combat readiness and defense plan. They also provided support for several units during large-scale training events across the installation.
UFS24 is an annual combined exercise conducted in support of the U.S.-ROK Mutual Defense Treaty that highlights the U.S. commitment to the alliance.
