Senior Airman Devan Skeem, 8th Operations Support Squadron survival, evasion, resistance, and escape specialist, was selected as Kunsan Air Base’s Pride of the Pack for the week of June 24-28.

Skeem was involved in the establishment of static line jump capabilities with Special Operations Command Korea at Camp Humphreys, Republic of Korea. This initiative successfully reinstated Air Force Instruction currency for Kunsan’s SERE personnel after a four-year lapse, demonstrating his proactive approach and commitment to operational readiness.

Skeem also played a crucial role in a joint jump operation involving 200 personnel from SOCKOR and the Republic of Korea Special Warfare Command.

He coordinated combat survival and conduct after capture courses for 42 U.S. Army aircrew personnel from the 3rd Military Intelligence Battalion at Humphreys as well.

“I love my job, we get a lot of opportunities to help other organizations and meet new people,” said Skeem. “Every day is different and I get to be able to teach so many people.”

Serving as one of two in his shop at Kunsan AB, Skeem takes on many responsibilities and conducts them in an effective manner, making him a shining example of what it means to be the Pride of the Pack.

Congratulations to Skeem in your recognition as this week’s Pride of the Pack and thank you for your outstanding efforts within the Wolf Pack.
