The 8th Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordnance disposal team (EOD) responded to a simulated vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) during a training event at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Sept. 12, 2022.

After being notified of the VBIED, the EOD unit set up a cordon to keep personnel at a safe distance as they disarmed the simulated threat.

The training event ensures personnel can be ready to employ their capabilities at a moment’s notice if a bomb threat occurs, keeping installation assets safe and allowing the Wolf Pack to continue operations.
