KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Joshua Fritz, 8th Force Support Squadron, was found unresponsive in his on-base dormitory room here at approximately, 12:25 p.m. May 14, 2020.
The cause of death is currently under investigation.
“Staff Sgt. Fritz was a beloved member of our force support team,” said Col. Tad Clark, 8th Fighter Wing commander. “There’s nothing I can say to heal the pain felt by this loss. Every member of the Wolf Pack: Airman, civilian, contractor, Korean national employees, and their families are a part of our team that makes everything we do at Kunsan possible. Our priority is to do everything we can to support the family, friends, and loved ones who are struggling with this loss.”
