KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Kunsan Airmen enjoyed their first snow day of the new year here Jan. 4 as they headed to work in temperatures ranging in the low to high 20s.

The average amount of snowfall for Kunsan is more than 31 inches a year, with a record of 73.3 inches in past years. The snow season usually ends in March, but flurries can be seen all the way to April. Airmen are reminded to use caution when driving; operators must be aware of current road and weather conditions.
