Busy BEE monitor base water for contaminates

KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea – Staff Sgt. Kyle Hicks, 8th Medical Operation Squadron Bioenvironmental Engineering craftsman drops phenol red into a water sample collected from building 1305, Feb. 20 2013. Phenol red is a red dye used as a pH indicator to show acidity of a water sample. Each month, Hicks collects water samples from eight different areas around the base to test.
