Electrical, environmental maintenance keeps F-16 systems online
There are about 59 different types of aircraft in the U.S. Air Force and each one houses a network of wires that allows the aircraft to function properly. The 80th Aircraft Maintenance Unit electrical and environmental shop inspects, troubleshoots and maintains those electrical and environmental networks for Kunsan’s F-16 Fighting Falcons.

Mission-ready flight keeps legacy alive
Dozens of machinery align in multiple rows near a hangar. Some are as big as the Hydraulic Test Stand, sitting up to nearly five feet tall. Some are as small as an axle jack, which can fit on a table, but lift a 30,000-pound aircraft.

25th AMU blows away competition at 2019 Penn Fest
The 8th Maintenance Group hosted the 2019 Penn Fest, Oct. 19, and brought together five aircraft maintenance units, and their respective aircraft, from across the Republic of Korea. This year, Penn Fest gave several AMUs the chance to see who had the best air force load crew in the ROK.
