For Whom the Bell Tolls

Visitors of the Gyeongju National Museum read about the Divine Bell of King Seongdeok in Gyeongju, Republic of Korea, July 18, 2017. The bell was completed in 771 and is still operational, ringing out the hour every day. Nearly 100 United States Forces Korea members were invited by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs to tour this location and other historic sites across the ROK as part of an initiative to give U.S. personnel a better understanding of Korean culture and patriotism.
