Reason for nomination: "Upon aircraft 465's return from a training sortie, maintenance personnel found a sheared wingtip bolt on station one during the post flight inspection. Sergeant Sellers was called out to evaluate the discrepancy. Noting this would require guidance from engineers at Hill AFB, Utah, Sergeant Sellers immediately set-out to research a repair procedure to submit along with his request for guidance. Engineers at Hill AFB were so impressed with his job knowledge and expertise that his repair procedures were immediately approved. Spending countless overtime hours in the span of three days, Sergeant Sellers was able to bring the wingtip station back to full service. Had he not been able to fix the wing it would have lead to a complete wing change valued at $350,000 and about a week of aircraft down-time and most importantly, another jet to "Take the Fight North!" Sergeant Sellers consistently exhibited superior expertise and professionalism and is truly deserving of the title, "Pride of the Pack" for the 8th Fighter Wing." - Maj. William Bradley, 8th MXS commander
