176th Fighter Squadron begins arrival at Kunsan

Three F-16 Fighting Falcons, or more commonly known as Vipers, assigned to the 176th Fighter Squadron, 115th Fighter Wing, Wisconsin Air National Guard taxi at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Aug. 8, 2017. The 176th arrived at Kunsan to support the U.S. Pacific Command’s security obligations in the Western Pacific as a part of a planned Theater Security Package deployment. The deployed unit will perform training under the support of the 8th Fighter Wing, testing the 176th’s ability to integrate in a warfighter capacity and the Wolf Pack’s ability to accept follow on forces in the event of a contingency.
