CMSgt. Amanda Aaron is the Command Chief Master Sergeant “Wolf Chief,” 8th Fighter Wing, Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea. Chief Aaron represents the 2,400 Airmen, Soldiers, and Civilian members of the Wolf Pack, serving as the principal advisor to the commander on all enlisted matters, including those that affect the health, welfare, morale, training, professional development, readiness, quality of life, and effective utilization of assigned personnel. The 8 FW is a primary exercise and rotational force bed-down location for U.S. air component forces, maintaining active flightline operations, war reserve material and munitions at multiple contingency operating bases across the Korean Peninsula. Chief Aaron also provides crucial engagement with the senior enlisted leadership of the Republic of Korea Air Force, serving to foster better understanding and improved readiness.
Chief Aaron hails from Temperance, Michigan, where she enlisted in the Air Force in 2004 and graduated from the Logistics Plans Apprentice Course at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.
Chief Aaron has a vast experience base which includes duties at Wings, MAJCOMs, and multiple Joint assignments. Chief Aaron has completed six overseas tours, contingency response, and deployed in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and INHERENT RESOLVE. Prior to her current position, she served as the Senior Enlisted Leader, 319th Mission Support Group, Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota.
