Pride of the Pack: Master Sgt. Michael Fisher
Master Sgt. Michael Fisher from the 8th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron was selected as the 8th Figher Wing Pride of the Pack for the week of May 14. He oversees the daily maintenance operations of both the 35th and 80th Aircraft Maintenance Units and end-of-runway operations. KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea April 13, 2007 -- The last Airman assigned to the 9th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron boards a DC-10 bound for Holloman Air Force Base, N.M. here. The 9th EFS, one of two F-117 Nighthawk stealth fighter squadrons, finishes its four-month air expeditionary force deployment with the flight. F-117 pilots and maintainers, who generally operate and maintain the stealth fighter in a desert, arid climate, learned how to overcome obstacles when operating the aircraft in Korea.
