‘Lucky socks’ return to Wolf Pack

Retired Air Force Brig. Gen. Robin Olds’ lucky socks returned to the 8th Fighter Wing at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, May 13, 2014. Until recently, the socks were cared for by John Dibbs, The Plane Picture Company creative director and friend of Olds. He presented the memento to be cared for by the Wolf Pack and inspire future leaders. Olds, known as “Wolf 1,” reportedly wore the socks during every mission he flew.
