KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea --

Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, hosted a Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage month, May 19, 2022. Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage was first
celebrated in the 1970s, and in 2008, May was designated as Asian American and Pacific Islander Month. During AAPIHM, the United States celebrates their achievements and contributions through celebrations, demonstrations and government sponsored activities.
